Wedding Photography Melbourne – Louise & Brett 14th May 2011 @ The Royce Hotel – St Kilda

It started out a very cold and windy Autumn day for Louise & Brett for their ceremony in the Botanical Gardens. The weather did hold out for them, but for safety and comfort for the guest the ceremony was held in the the beautiful Eastern Transit Room. With light fading very quickly we hussled around the gardens and even ducked into the Ian Potter Foundation Children’s Garden and got some amazing shots before making our way back to the absolutley stunning Royce Hotel on St Kilda road. Louise & Brett I had an amazing day capturing your special occassion, I wish you much happiness for all your years together… Mike.

Wedding Photography Melbourne – Jackie & Kris 5th February 2011 @ Green’s Point – Brighton

Jackie & Kris were lucky enough to have their wedding ceremony at Green’s Point in Brighton on the Saturday directly after Melbourne’s own Brighton was flooded. Green’s Point was a lovely location for this beautiful ceremony overlooking the beach and the bay with the city skyline in the background. The ground under foot was a little soggy, but didn’t deter anyone from having a great time. After the ceremony was over we headed off to the beach boxes to take advantage of the overcast skies, then into the city for a couple of shots that Jackie wanted with the awesome graffiti in Hosier lane. The reception at The Point in Albert Park was a stunning location with the room all dressed in black & white was simply beautiful.                  Jackie & Kris all the best and much happiness for the future… Mike.

Wedding Photography Yarra Valley – Katrina & Kynan 5th March 2011 @ Killara Estate – Seville

A beautiful day for a wedding in the Yarra Valley and that is just how we celebrated this gorgeous couple Katrina & Kynan’s memorable day.

Both Katrina & Kynan were getting ready a motel in Lilydale, Kynan at one end of the motel & Katrina at the other end so they didn’t bump into to each other before they met at the end of the aisle.

Kynan and the boys were quiet relaxed while we captured some great shots of them together looking all sharp in their own suits they got for the occasion.

We then made our way to the other end of the motel to Katrina and the bridesmaids, her two sisters and best friend had just finished having their hair and make up done.  The girls all looked amazing in their pink dresses they had individually picked for themselves. Katrina popped on her dress and just looked stunning,  a beautiful strapless gown, very elegant. Katrina made it easy to capture beautiful images in the very small motel room we were in.

We then made our way to the picturesque Killara Estate in Seville for the ceremony on the deck over looking the vineyard. The girls arrived in a classic American convertible with Katrina honking the horn letting everyone around that she was here and ready to walk  down the aisle to see her husband to be for the first time that day. The ceremony with family and friends overlooking celebrant Ralph Roath, was lovely, with two readings by Katrina’s best friend and Kynan’s sister rounding out theirs vows.

After the ceremony we gathered everyone together for a group shot overlooking the vineyards, then made our way around the specatular ground at Killara Esate to get the amazing photos you see below.

Katrina & Kynan, we had a blast on your wedding day and wish the most happiness in life together…

Wedding Photography Melbourne – Naomi & Andrew 12th March 2011 @ Inglewood Chapel – Kangaroo Ground

Naomi and Andrew came to see me after I had photographed a wedding of work colleague a few years ago and said she loved what I had done for them. We couldn’t have asked for a better day weather wise and started the day with a small trek out to Eden Park to capture some great shots of the boys. We then trekked a little further out to Wallan to where Naomi and the girls where getting ready. The girls had a ball getting ready and Naomi was beautiful and relaxed which allowed us to capture some stunning shots. They then had a beautiful ceremony at the cute little chapel at Inglewood Receptions, followed by some amazing shots around the beautiful grounds there. We then headed off to Warrandyte & Eltham for very picturesque location photos and finished up at Watsonia RSL for a fun filled night of the Photobooth Reception coverage. The whole day was a huge success and everyone had a blast. I hope you enjoy the images below as much as we did taking them.

Wedding Photography Melbourne – Rebecca & Wayne 18th February 2011 at Chateau Wyuna – Mount Evelyn

Welcome to the wedding of Rebecca & Wayne @ Chateau Wyuna. With a beautiful outdoor ceremony under the arbour the rain held off long enough for us to get some amazing photos. We then spent some time around the property capturing these beautiful images of the wedding party and finished up inside for a really nice cocktail function.
