Sisko Chocolate’s Chocolate Prohibition 7th March @ Bluestone Restaurant Bar – Melbourne

What better way to spend a Monday night than having a few carefully selected drinks to complement the wide range of designer chocolate’s @ Sisko Chocolate’s Chocolate Prohibition at the Bluestone Restaurant Bar in Flinders Lane. The theme for the night was 1920′s Flappers and Gangsters and everyone turned out dressed to the theme. The night started with a white chocolate ganache with Cobram Estate olive oil paired with a chocolate martini. We then had our choice of white or dark freeze dried raspberry and toasted almond moustaches cleverly matched up with a French Kruger Blanc de Blancs. But before you could sample these delights we stopped most passers into our make shift photobooth for a little photo of them with their moustaches, some couldn’t wait to try so in lots of the shots half the moustaches are missing. Then you moved on to third course of a liquid chocolate shot mulled red wine spice paired up with a 2007 Grove Estate Zinfadel which was absolutely delightful. This was closely followed up with a delightful chocolate mouse matched with a late harvest riesling from Critenden & Co. We finished this all off with a chocolate cigarette, single origin chocolate form Brazil with a very tasty whiskey cocktail.
